Day 1 — Historic centre: Cathedral, Giralda and Alcázar
Start early at the Cathedral and its tower, the Giralda, then move on to the Real Alcázar (book your time slot online, the queue is long). In the afternoon, get lost in the lanes of the Barrio de Santa Cruz, the old Jewish quarter, and finish with tapas near the Cathedral.
Day 2 — Plaza de España, María Luisa Park and Triana
In the morning, the spectacular Plaza de España and the shady María Luisa Park. Then cross the Guadalquivir to Triana, the ceramics and flamenco district: covered market, azulejos, and in the evening, a real flamenco tablao.
Day 3 — Las Setas, Casa de Pilatos and wandering
Climb the Metropol Parasol ("Las Setas") for the view, visit the Casa de Pilatos, then leave some free time for the shops and squares of the centre. With an extra day, take a trip to Cordoba (fast train) or the Roman ruins of Italica.
The logic: by neighbourhood, on foot
The mistake in Seville is zigzagging from one riverbank to the other several times a day. Group your visits by area — monumental centre, Plaza de España / María Luisa, Triana — and do it all on foot. Start by exporting your Google Maps favourites.
With MyFavsMap, you see all your Seville spots on a map, filter by category (monuments, tapas, flamenco…) and build your 3 days neighbourhood by neighbourhood.
Practical tips
- Book online for the Alcázar and the Cathedral: on-site queues are long.
- Visit early in summer: from noon the heat is brutal.
- Everything on foot: the centre is small and pedestrian, forget the car.
- Tapas: eat like the locals, several small spots rather than one big restaurant.
- Flamenco: pick a tablao in Triana for the authentic atmosphere.
