Day 1 — Ancient Rome

The Colosseum (book ahead), the Roman Forum and the Palatine, then Capitoline Hill. It's all close together and walkable.

Day 2 — The Vatican

St Peter's Basilica, the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel (book an early slot). Finish at Castel Sant'Angelo.

Day 3 — The baroque centre

The Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona and the Spanish Steps. In the evening, dine in Trastevere.

The logic: group by zone

First put your places on a map to see the clusters. If you have a Google Maps favourites list, start by exporting it or pasting your list. With MyFavsMap, you visualise your Rome spots, filter by category and build your days around the historic centre, on foot — so you enjoy more and rush less.
